ENERGY EFFICIENT HEATING
Traditional radiators need to be heated to a high temperature (typically 65-75°C) in order to heat a room effectively, whereas floor heating can be run as low as 35°C – thereby consuming less energy and resulting in savings on energy bills.
RENEWABLES
Due to the low flow temperature that is required with UFH to heat a room, it is an ideal compliment to any renewable heat source. Heat pumps are at their most efficient when producing low temperature water so with underfloor you maximise the efficiency of your heating installation.

EASE OF INSTALLATION
When looking at a new floor, underfloor is not only more cost comparable with radiators but simpler to install. Nothing changes with a standard floor construction, other than to lay some pipes on the insulation before you screed. The only flow and return pipes from the heat source are to the central manifold rather than a circuit to each individual radiator.

DESIGN FREEDOM
Still the main reason we hear for people choosing UFH is the freedom to put furniture wherever they choose without having to allow for radiators on the wall. Heating from the ground up also makes it an ideal heat emitter for double height areas, without the need to first heat unused space.
EFFORTLESS TO RUN
Once installed, underfloor requires virtually no maintenance. Programmers are positioned in each room, once they have been set, the system can be left to its own devices whilst you enjoy a constant comfort level that is right for you. Smart controls enable you to alter the system wherever there is a Wi-Fi signal should you require a little more control.
FLOOR COVERINGS
Don’t let the choice to use underfloor heating dictate what floor covering you want. Whilst UFH will always work best with thermally transparent coverings, by following a few simple rules UFH will work with virtually all floor coverings.

COMFORT
A radiator is moving the air around the room providing a very uneven heat profile. UFH emits heat from the entire floor, this not only gives an even heat temperature across the room but does not circulate the air. This increases comfort levels and reduces the dust that is traditionally produced from radiators.
Heating from the ground up also results in your feet always being warmer than your head which
optimises the comfort level and heat profile you would experience.
